Economists working in the field of economic growth and international trade are invited to submit a paper or a long abstract (3 pages) for presentation at the Paris conference. Papers focusing on the global economy, trade dynamics, regional economics, international migration, equilibrium growth, sustainability, national and global political economy of growth, international governance, transition economics, and any other topic directly relevant to economic growth are welcome. Both theoretical and empirical papers will be considered for presentation at the conference.

Submission of papers
Prospective participants should submit a draft version of the paper or a 3-page abstract (pdf) by e-mail to degit2017@psemail.eu no later than April 30, 2017. Please include with your submission a cover page with your name, title, affiliation, address, phone number and e-mail address. Please name your paper’s file as follows: submitter last name_one or two keywords from the list: macro, growth, trade, labor, migration (for example: smith_tradelabor.pdf). Please address any inquiries about the event to the above email address.


Time Schedule

  • April 30, 2017: Deadline for submissions

  • May 15, 2017: Notification of acceptance to the author
